Gouverneur & St. Lawrence Co Fair 

RV Camper Application and Regulations

Please Note: The Fairgrounds is not a public campground therefore; camping is limited to event

participants, It is not available to show spectators.

To pre-register for camping, you will need to fill out an RV Camper Application

  • Check-in is not available until the Saturday or Sunday prior to fair week.
  • All campers must be removed by Monday after the fair ends.
  • Your camper permit will be available for pick up at the fair office.
  • Dumping facilities are available on site.
  • Pets are not allowed inside the Fairgrounds at any time. They can be housed inside travel trailers; they cannot be left chained and unattended outside. All pets must have valid & current rabies vaccinations.
  • Open awnings are not permitted.
  • No liquids of any kind are to be dumped or poured onto the ground. Please make sure all hose fittings are tight to prevent leaks or sprays. Vacuum Breakers must be left on water spigots.
  • No open flames of ANY kind, under any circumstances, are allowed including torches, and campfires.
  • G&SLCF reserves the right to revoke any permit for failure to abide by these rules and regulations. If a permit is revoked, no refunds will be issued, and you must vacate the property immediately.
  • G&SLCF reserves the right to make a ruling on any questions not contained in these rules and regulations.
  • Returned checks will be charged a $40 processing fee.
  • REFUND POLICY: Refunds will be made if cancellation is made within 48 hours of the event. There is a 10% charge for a cancellation.

Your permit will NOT be mailed to you. Anyone caught violating the above regulations will be asked to leave immediately. The above regulations will be enforced by the St. Lawrence County Department of Health and a fine of up to $1,000.00 per day per violation will be imposed. The camper registrant will be responsible for paying this fee.

I have read and agree to comply with the rules and regulations written or verbal, as set forth by management and the St. Lawrence County Department of Health. The Gouverneur Agricultural & Mechanical Society, Inc. does not assume any responsibility for the protection of camping trailers or equipment and I further indemnify and hold the Gouverneur Agricultural & Mechanical Society, Inc. Harmless.

No Payment until Application is approved! Campers will be placed by size and needs.
